If Housewitch's solution doesn't work for you, here is another possible solution.
To solve this problem follow these steps:
- Start ----> Run -----> type gpedit.msc - click on (Administrative Templates) ----> (control Panel) -----> double click on (Prohibit access to Control Panel)----> select Disable --->OK.
Also Double click on (Show only specified Control Panel applets) ----> select Disable ---> OK
Finally the icons of Control Panel will appear.
Now that I know how to find 'run'.....I typed in 'gpedit.msc' and it comes back that it can't find it....... .........I'm I sr@wed..... ::)

On your keyboard, there should be a Windows button - a button (mine's between Cntrl and Alt, to the left of the space bar) - with a graphic representation of the Windows logo. Press it, hold it down, and also press the R key. A Run Prompt window should pop up somewhere on the screen. This works in XP as well as in Vista.
If you have an older keyboard, or one that came from a manufacturer who isn't Windows-dedicated, you may not have a Windows key.
In that case, right click on Start. A small window should appear containing things like Open, Explore, Properties, etc. Click on Properties. That should open another window. Under the Start Menu tab, you should have an option for Customize. Click that, then select the Advanced tab. You should see Start Menu Items. Scroll down until you find Run command, and make sure it's selected. Click OK, then Apply. The Run command should then show up in your Start menu.
Thanks!!!! It worked.....didn't even know that key was there.......

Robin, my computer guru ran the computer through Malwarebytes to get viruses out. (Yeah, doesn't it bite! ) Google that up, download, and see if that helps.

We’ve all been reemed by an asoo named Dana. Somehow being reemed made everyone princesses. Mizz’s horse’s @$$ even got the royal treatment.
Vivian’s going Scratchy-optional.
Bloopadabloo is changing her name, in honor of The BossGrinch Who Stole Christmas.
Warning: Jason is pushing buttons again. JG may be involved.
Mizz is working on his synchronized Christmas light display, that comes complete with the Bee Gee’s singing Hark, The Herald. The rest of us are just getting a bunch of “Ditto” signs when we move to the BAHRR compound.
All the hot air blew into Washington, DC. So it got colder than a witch’s uh…nevermind…in here, and we started getting viruses. Swine may or may not have been involved. All the better reason to move to a warmer climate (but not DC). If we moved to Texas, we could have the best of both worlds. We could live in Italy AND Paris.
Jasmine is afraid of doggie beds; Benji eats doggie beds. George prolly would too, if there was one in the house.
Boogy’s headed to dinner at Demi’s house, but first he’s off to see the wizzer. Utilities are kinda ify around her house. She’s getting out the special Chinet, just for him.
Mizz is an old goat. He’s getting MrsMizz a young goat for Christmas.
If Swampy were a guy, and so inclined, she could pick up a lot of hot chicks with a puppy like that.
Allison has a 50 lb beaver. The rest of us have beaver envy.
Kristy sent Swampy a load of crap.
There’s a lot of hanging chads on the greatest band poll.
Rosemary’s running around bare. She’s a woman’s man with no time to talk. Doesn’t she know it’s almost winter?
Twice to the head; once to the chest. Don’t mess with Allison.

Holiday Candy Treat « Result #21 on Dec 17, 2009, 10:16pm »
I heard about this treat and tried it today. Very yummy and looks cute on a plate with your other holiday baking.
Take round pretzels (I couldn't find round ones, so I used the mini pretzels) and put them on a baking sheet (I use baking sheets with silpats so if you don't have silpats I'd at least use parchment paper).
On each pretzel put one rolo candy. Bake for 4 minutes at 325 degrees. As soon as you take them out of the oven, press a peanut butter M&M on top of the rolo that has melted some. (I turned over the M&M so it was plain on top. I also took out the brown M&M's, ,so they would be colorful).
Let these cool a couple of hours and then eat!
You have your salt, caramel, peanut butter and chocolate, all in one small morsel.

Thanks, all. I'm so not into cameras and camcorders but want to capture the little guys (yes, you're right MH!). Been looking at the Nikon 5000 as it will record and I can get really good pictures with it. On the other hand, a small camcorder and cheaper camera (maybe even a great point and shoot) may be the best alternative. I'm still thunkin' about it.
What I don't want to do is take videos and then the kids can't watch themselves 30 years from now.Of course, I'll only be 89 then.

Yep, from T-Ball to college baseball with Little League, park league, traveling, middle school, wood bat summer league, and high school baseball in between, all dutifully taped with the unmodern camcorder. Oh my aching shoulder!
Guess I can wait for grand kids, to get the dedicated modern digital video recorder. Betcha that's why Rosemary is going modern.

We have a miniDV camcorder and rarely get it out. Although it is less than 4 years old, I think we use if every Christmas morning and that's about it - oh - and a DD's dance recital and Christmas performance. The biggest feature I remember seeing that stood out to me (beyond the obvious, optical zoom, low light functions, etc.) was the image stabilization feature. That has been great even in the few times we've used it. When we bought it, miniDV was relatively new and camcorders didn't have memory sticks like they can now even though digital cameras did. I haven't bought a firewire to transfer things yet, so we just have labeled tapes in the camera bag.
One of our friends just got a Flip HD and loves it. Very convenient and pocket sized with decent video and sound quality. For the price, it is great!

We have a Sony MiniDV recorder which has worked great so far ( 2 years). You should buy the larger capacity battery as an option since the one that comes with it doesn't last very long. I think we paid about 300 which seems reasonable.

MiniDV (digital tape) records 60-90 minutes on small tapes. The tapes are inexpensive - and you CAN get the video into your PC (usually takes a Firewire connection - some can go USB, but Firewire is faster and better). Quality can go anywhere from lousy to very good (I think a lot of the professional rigs still use this tape format). Searching for a particular scene on the tape can be a pain (just like the old VHS tapes, except quality is much better since its digital). You can use the tapes as long-term backup / copies of your videos.
Some video cameras also record to DVD's. Quality is the same, search functions a bit better, but cameras are more expensive and bulkier. The media is dirt cheap, and getting the info into a PC couldn't be easier.
A lot of the newer HD camcorders are using flash drives. Even though the price/byte has come way down, flash drives aren't that great for long term storage (if you do a lot of video, you'll need a sizable hard drive on your PC to download all the data to, and then have a plan for backups). Flash drives are very small, so this helps keep camera size down, plus its easy and quick to download the info to a PC. Its probably where everything is heading.
Video cameras suck as still cameras (can we say "suck" on here?). I think you'll find some compromises in features with still cameras used to take video (I don't think DSLR's can autofocus in video mode, and do any of them record sound in stereo?). If your only wanting the occasional 1 to 2 minute video clip, they would probably do fine. But if your going to tape Junior's entire Little League career, you're probably going to want a dedicated video camera.
When you're reading the reviews, pay particular attention to the low light performance. Image sensors go sort of grainy when you push their sensitivity, and some cameras are better at low light than others.
